THE STUDIO
Penkiler is a creative duo that creates physical space projects with a surreal-fairytale character through storytelling. What brought us together was our desire to create strong conceptual work with deep emotional impact that would come to life in the physical space. Bringing together our backgrounds in design, advertising, art and photography set the foundation and path for the work we bring to life.
THE PROCESS
The studio can help in the overall construction of a creative concept or the development of an existing one. Depending on the needs and the execution of the desired outcome, we sketch, sculpt and design a digital model before final production.The studio's work is distinguished by its approach to briefs, choice of materials and method of execution. In our approach, we look for depth of message and communication beyond just creating an aesthetic work. We work primarily in wood, where the relief approach, arrangement in space and hand finishing characterise the work with a surreal look, warmth and naivety.
